Athletics!

Athletics

One of my favourite things that happen each term is that we have an amazing, fun, sporty Athletics day. I love Athletics, it's so fun and it's a day when the whole school comes together and plays games and fun races. The whole school were split into our age groups, and we were wearing multi coloured tops that represented our house groups Kea (Red), Ruru (Blue), Tui (Yellow) and Pukeko (Green). We played lots of fun activities like High Jump, Long Jump, Shot put, Tennis, Team Games, Sprints, 200m/400m Run, Fun Relays and Hurtles. At the end of the day we came together and ran some House Relays, 6 people from each house group got chosen to run some relays against the other houses representing their own house group, Kea won the most Relays but everyone had fun!

Here are some photos of the day! Hope you enjoyed!
